This car spend most of its life in Italy and has no rust !
As far as I could trace the history, the first owner had this one converted to a convertible right after he bought it in 1987. I looks like it was a farmer, there is a hand operated cow bell in the dahsboard !
The conversion is not a Land ROver one and I have never seen one like this before. Really unique. Pretty sure it is a one of.
Also I think the farmer was a big person. The seats are modified and wider than standard, very professionally done and still original Land Rover seats. The driver site seat can move further back then standard.
Car drives really nice. Easy starter, no more smoke then any other Turbo Diesel engine and the power you might expect.
The Good:
- no rust on frame, nothing
- frame never welded
- bulkhead never welded and no rust
- foot wells in good shape, one is repainted, the other original
- door frames no rust
- brakes, drive line, transmission everything works like it should work
- interior really nice
- nice running Turbo Diesel engine
- 158 K Km = appr 100 K miles. no service records or history to proof.
The bad:
- a little bit of corrosion on the doors, aluminum corrosion
- tires 50%
- one zipper of the top is broken
- some corrosion on the tri angle plates behind the rear side door
- front bumper dented
- no door card on rear door
- a little dent and badly repaired on rear door
Price include MI title.
