Sorry, this item is sold

ALso in Europe rare, LHD double cabs.
LHD 130 only became on sale for normal clients in the early nineties and only became popular in the late 90's. Often used as work trucks not many nice examples survived.

a few years ago I came across this one, bought it and stored it since. Although not perfect it is in very good condition and so much better then the average Defender of that age.
According to the story, that this car was used by a world traveler and I bought it with a camper unit. This is why it is maybe in such good condition.

Car drives reallly good, easy starter, shifts nice, brakes working good.

the good:
- brand new headliner
- no rust on bulkhead
- no rust on doorframes, front doors
- no rust on frame
- no alluminium corrosion on the body
- very nice interior
- very clean and all original car
- timing belt replaced 27K miles ago (needs to be done everyt 60K miles)
- body and paint in very good condition, one scratch on passenger door and maybe a few all over.
- brand new headliner
- pictures show a really dirty car, has been in storage for two years.
- new battery
- canvas hood included
- roof rack included
- 500K km's

the bad:
- no service history, other then last oil and timing belt change.
- scratch on one door.
- some rust on door frame 2nd row doors
- paint in box damaged as you can expect from a pick up box. No serious dents or damages.
- one spot professionally welded on frame
- 326K miles, actually not a bad point but want to have it listed.
- one CV joint makes some noise.. plenty of time to fix it :)
- foot wells rusty, and repaired before. No visible big holes but count on repairing them in the future
- rear cross member. First signs of rust. Maybe you can treat it to prevent further damage but count on replacing it in the in a few years. Not urgent, structurally still sound. Most sellers wouldn't even care about this and list it as perfect....

This car was modified for Dutch tax purposes, wheelbase is even a few inch longer than standard 130's
